I have decided once a week that I will post a new recipe. No reason, just thought it woul be fun. And if you have any favs to share feel free!
Creamy Chicken Alfredo:
Sauce:
3-4 tbsp butter
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp cream cheese
2 pkg. shredded parmesan cheese
1 tbsp garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic salt. Add heavy whipping cream and let warm 1 min, stirring occasionally. Add milk let warm while stirring. Add cream cheese and let melt, continue stirring occasionally. Stir in parmesan cheese. Simmer while stirring frequently for about 20 min or until cheese is melted completely. Add salt and a generous amount of pepper. Pour over cooked pasta of your choice (I use penne).
Hint: For the chicken we season it with lemon pepper seasoning and grill it, or you can heat a tbsp of olive oil cut chicken into 1 inch pieces lightly flour and cook till done.
